  1. Other musicals with football themes: Kern, Bolton, Wodehouse: LEAVE IT TO JANE; Rodgers & Hart TOO MANY GIRLS. Kern, Harbach ROBERTA is not a football musical per se, but the leading man is a college football play who inherits a dress shop and the humor is set up by the contrast of a football player winding up in the couture business.
