  1. Why not swap out My Favorite Things for “Hey Look Me Over” and talk about people, shows, songs, things from Broadway that you may have overlooked? Your podcast for a West Coast listener is an oasis of Broadway news!

  2. I loved your praise of “Wildcat,” a show & score I love so dearly. I saw Martha Raye as Wildy (Lucy’s character) at Westbury Music Fair in the early 60’s. She had sprained both ankles and the dancing had to be done around her. But she & the show itself were wonderful. And I loved the OCR, even with Lucy’s voice. Speaking of which: you talked about the Lucy schtick that got added more & more during the run. On the album, you can hear her go into a very “I Love Lucy” “WAAAAAH” at the end of “You’re a Liar.” Keith Andes’ grandson played Karl the Giant in “Big Fish” on Broadway.

    • Martha Raye!! Oh, wow! Ryan Andes is a talented guy, very much like his grandfather!
