Our Favorite Things #167: Rian Keating & Liaisons: Reimagining Sondheim

This Week: A Behind The Curtain before Behind The Curtain, Sondheim gets rearranged, plus thoughts on Tootsie, What The Constitution Means To Me, and Ain’t Too Proud.

Every week director Robert W Schneider and actor Kevin David Thomas pull back the curtain on neglected, forgotten, and under appreciated musicals, as well as bizarre performances, endearing television appearances, and all things show business.

  1. Hey, we are so excited you found us! And now, that we found you 🙂 Check out our Facebook page – I’ve been remiss updating the website but there is big news – we’re doing a special “coda” to the project for Sondheim’s 90th, and it will premiere at the 92nd Street Y. It’s called Liaisons2020 (because his 90th is in… wait for it… yes! 2020.) Also, on our website, check out the gallery, which has short films of these composers talking about their love of Sondheim. One of the biggest most wonderful surprises in producing this was learning how much he has affected composers from across the musical spectrum. Cheers! – Rachel Colbert, producer, The Liaisons Project
